Hello Everyone,

I haven't been growing cacti for very long (about 6 months), but after stagnant growth in my plants I have used this forum and site to address lots of my issues and concerns. Hopefully I will be able to repay the favor to others someday.

I didn't really understand why people would grow cacti, until I saw my first real cactus flower. I have been hooked since I looked into all the variation in form and flowers that are available.

I enjoy all types of plants, and currently play host to number of fig varieties and rare fruits.

I look forward to my time here!

Welcome to the CactiGuide cactus and succulent forum from a fellow fig and cactus grower. I am certain, that you can learn a lot about growing cacti and succulents, if you stick around here for some time and apply the knowledge you can gain here.

A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.
