Heres some mammillaria I found south of San Quintin on the road to la Lobera in Baja California. Any experts know what they are?
Looks like one M. dioica, spring flowers would show this more definite.
Ya that’s true.. most likely will never be there in spring because the fishing isn’t good there at that time. Hopefully one day tho

Beautiful plants! Is that Mammillaria magnifica with the pinkish red flowers? The flowers are stunning.

Not to sure. Every year I get a different stenocactus mixed bag of seed from a different website/source and this one came from one of those batches.. it is interesting it has some pretty big spines and also a lot of wool. This plant is 5 years old

Lots of Stenocactus flowers right now. When I starting collecting these we’re my favorite and probably still are or Mammillaria

Beautiful.
In what type of soil do you grow them and do you give them a lot of sun? The presence of the wool is very distinctive.

The base is cactus mix then I mix in a lot of pumice and also some various stuff like turface and crushed lava rock.. depending on what plant/species. My haageocereus all get full sun and I only mix in pumice. They seem to like a wetter soil. As far as sun most of my plants I try to give full sun with no shade and also no sides or walls. I feel like the more airflow and sun will bring out the awesome traits that each species have.

Nice Steno's. I found 8 -6 months ago marked as Ferocactus at Home Depot and Lowes. A mix of species. My pilosocereus also has bloomed a 3rd flower. Not as pungent as the first 2.
