Re: My collection
You have an amazing collection of cacti. Of special note are the very spiny ones with contrasting bright, colorful flowers--very striking. Your columnars are particularly nice.
Catch a falling star--but don't try it with a cactus!
Re: My collection
Well can’t remember exactly how long ago I got it but it was a single small plant when I got it. I try to grow them all in full sun and most get shade some part of the day for an hour or so. I have one side with some shade cloth and eventually move them into full sun and they seem to like it. Some tho like most of my turbs stay in the shade cloth area
Re: My collection
Here’s a little section of the columnars.. haags and cleistocactus mostly

Re: My collection
I love that first image, the one that looks like a Turbinicarpus, but with olive-brown body. Is that some kind of South American genus/species?

Re: My collection
That would be turbinicarpus polaskii
Re: My collection
Here’s a Neolloydia flower for the first time. I really need to repot it in a smaller container and a more mineral soil. Also a cleistocactus that grows like a weed and a painting I had a buddy do for me. Thanks for looking

Re: My collection
I think it's Mammillaria magnifica, which seems fitting. My mother has a fairly large one. They are beautiful plants.
