some color to the collection & Older Opunita Turpinii

I was in La Canada Ca. this morning on business and drove past the La Canada Nursery. Stopped in for a look and found these three.

This is a Gymnocalycium Eurypleurum Black Chin Cactus
I found a few pictures on line with the red hue. At first I thought mine was under watered but looking at the available pictures they do show it looking like mine.

I don't know the other 2.

Really Nice collection of mature cactus Including these really nice Opunita Turpinii
I hope my 2 can grow to this size

Is the Gymnocalycium soft? It looks squishy.

No it is notsoft. Looking at the available pictures it appears that it grows this way.
