Googled for them and cannot find anything similar. Most grafting clips are plastic and sold for grafting roses etc (known as budding).

Not sure how they are supposed to be used? They are obviously a "bulldog" type clip, but what do you clip it on to, the stock? It would be interesting to see one in use as I cannot see you could just clip the bulldog clip onto one rib of the stocks without damaging them and they do not look as though they would open wide enough to go around anything thicker than a Pereskiopsis stock?

Were they originally designed for grafting cacti? Since they seem very elaborate and no doubt quite expensive to make, therefore I doubt the amateur market for grafting would be worthwhile making them for. Hence only the commercial market for grafting things like the Red Gymno's by the thousand would sustain that type of production, but even they would want a cheap plastic version if using thousands of them at once.

I suggest you ask the owner to show you how they work on an actual graft, also if they know what their original purpose was, if not for grafting cacti then you can search under that use..

I think those are a kind of old-fashioned laundry clip. I have seen them before in charity shops. I don't know what they are meant to hold (backpacks? neckties? scarves?) but that's their purpose and they're usually attached to the clothes hanger itself.

I think Aloinopsis has solved it, they are basically metal clothes pegs or clips, but cannot find any with that type of spring attachments not knowing what it was for. I doubt they were original intended for grafting. Unless you can find their original use you may have a job finding them, if still made.
