Two Lithops attacked by Vermin -Help please

Post by mikethecactusguy »

My only 2 Lithops have been eaten by vermin. We do have a lot of rodents where I live in Los Angeles. It was pouring rain and I did not expect to find these two eaten when the rain stopped.

Amazingly enough they scared over as soon as the sun came out this afternoon.
Are they going to survive? Advice would be appreciated

Yes, your Pleiospilos will both be fine. Maybe try to keep the leaves dry for several days until the scarring has healed over thoroughly.
Fortunately with many mesembs, they completely replace their leaves each year, so next year they should look perfect again.

Thank you. And Thank you for correcting me on species. If I would only read my only identification tags before posting something.
