I germinated a bunch of seed this winter and thought I would post updates when I remove the seedlings from their bags.

First up is Browningia candelaris. I planted 20-30 seeds from Mesa on January 26, 2019, and 10 germinated.

Astrophytum caput-medusae. I planted 10 seeds from Mesa on January 26, 2019, and 9 germinated.

Next is Haageocereus lachayensis. I planted 20-30 seeds from Mesa on January 29, 2019, and 24 germinated.

Acanthocalycium violaceum. I planted 20-30 seeds from Mesa on February 8, 2019, and 13 germinated.

Yeah, I guess they are! I have them growing in Black Gold Cactus Mix, which has a small amount of fertilizer at 0.07 - 0.0 - 0.0.

Toumeya (Sclerocactus) papyracantha. I planted 10 seeds from Mesa on March 2, 2019, and 3 germinated.

Stenocactus (Echinofossulocactus) xiphacanthas. I planted 20-30 seeds from Mesa on February 12, 2019, and 24 germinated.

Stenocactus (Echinofossulocactus) coptogonus. I planted 25-30 seeds from Mesa on February 7, 2019, and 23 germinated.

Ferocactus macrodiscus. I planted 20-30 seeds from Mesa on February 9, 2019, and 6 germinated.

Copiapoa goldii. I planted 10 seeds from Mesa on January 11, 2019, and 4 germinated. These have been really slow.

Copiapoa dealbata. I planted 10 seeds from Mesa on January 11, 2019, and 1 germinated. Failure to thrive?

Astrophytum myriostigma ssp. tulense. I planted 20-30 seeds from Mesa on January 31, 2019, and 15 germinated. I’ve since had some trouble with a few seedlings turning dark brown and dying. Not sure the cause.

Copiapoa goldii. I planted 10 seeds from Mesa on April 12, 2019, and 3 germinated. These are much more robust than the goldii seedlings planted on January 11.
