Dyed cactus update!

Post by cgriffin »

I thought I’d add an update on the cactus this lovely forum helped me identify. It got repotted today and has grown just a little. The dye seems to be fading which is brilliant and some of the spines are showing a regular colour where they were once red :D

Yes the problem is some buyers are then disappointed since it was the brilliant colour that first attracted them to the plant. However there are many cacti with brilliant coloured spines that don't need to be artificially coloured.
