Thanks!

That big echinocereus needs a bigger pot. I miscalculated how big it was when I was potting it. I'll give it a larger, more suitable pot today.

I use a mix of crushed limestone, crushed lava rock, cat litter and chicken grit (crushed granite). Some of my mixes might not have every one of those. Some are cat litter, chicken grit and perlite, some are cat litter, chicken grit and limestone. Just whatever I have lying around at the time really. All of them are mineral mixes because KY is really humid.

That's a Sulcorebutia rauscha.

I honestly didn't realize I had so many until I compiled them all together haha.

Yea, it's just gravel. Readily available so I use it.

Yes, I did all of the grafts myself. Not that hard. Some fail but most take. The growth difference between seed grown and grafted is insane. Grafted plants look like they're 4 or 5x as big as the seed growns.

I'll have to look and see who sent me those coryphantha seeds and thank them again. Very interesting looking plants. I'm somewhat of an Echinocereus fiend myself.

I grow quite a few CP as well. We had our first frost last night. I have to start collecting leaves to bury my more tender plants in a big leaf pile for the winter. My S. leucophylla are just putting out their best pitchers of the season. Always last like S. flava is always first.

I posted some photo's of my CP in this thread started Aug 20, 2021: https://cactiguide.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46586 Then again on May 17, 2023. I'm not very up to date on photos.
