Help me identify my succulent please!

Post by shxrxnxe »

I just bought this succulent from a school fair and was wondering what kind of succulent it is?

Also, do i need to top up more soil if the roots are exposed?

Do help me out, thank you!

It's an Anacampseros, maybe Anacampseros telephiastrum variegata.~

It needs quite a bright, sunny position.
I don't think the roots are exposed. These plants grow long hairs on the stems, these aren't to be confused with roots.

Definitely an Anacampseros, it's most likely Anacampseros telephiastrum variegata 'Sunrise'.

I wouldn't worry about the roots, those are probably hairs (common with Anacampseros) or just aerial roots.
