I'm new to this forum and also to growing succulents (I bought my first one around 2 months ago) and I have a question. I recently bought Haworthia Turgida (first photo) and it had many offsets and they seemed big enough to be pulled out of mother plant, so I did it. Two of them had small small roots, so I planted them in soil and treated them like the rest of my succulents, but they died (I think their roots were to small because plants just withered, but I'm not sure). The rest of these offsets hadn't have any roots, but I saw on the internet that you can put succulents in water and they'll grow new roots in a month, so I have put them in the water. However, they had been in that water for more than two weeks and offset with the biggest root is on second photo. Am I doing something wrong or haworthias take a lot of time to grow new roots? It just seems so small and I think it (and the rest of offsets) should have bigger roots by now. Any advice about the way I should treat these offsets will be helpful

Welcome to the forum! Nice looking haworthia and offset.
It’s always better to root in a soil unless you want to grow plants hydroponically.
Put your offsets on very well drained slightly damp(not wet!) soil.
Spray with water from time to time to keep soil slightly damp, do not water until you will see roots.
Two weeks is not a long time, it might take a month or sometimes even longer.
