I've started trying to grow some stuff from seed lately, so I'm making a little journal for my seedlings.

Of course, as these things go, I should have already started journaling- well, next best is to start now!

Summer '16, I received some Drimia uniflora seeds courtesy of Aiko at the free seed/swap list here.

09/07/18, whoops, a year later... well, one of the reasons I wanted to start this journal was to aim for more consistent progress photos.

10/16/18- growing well, they all bloomed, but I didn't photograph that, sadly. here's one tiny out of focus bud...

09/19/19- all other bulbs except for the biggest one went to a local cactus group. well, and I kept all the others that popped up in other random pots.

10/21/19- still big and sassy- a whopping .5in!

I also made some haworthia crosses with whatever I could find blooming at the time! At their earlies stages, I don't have any good pictures, because they sure weren't looking good; here they are at bottom right in Sept 2017, sneaking into another picture. But they are alive!

By August 2018, they have some tiny H. reticulata var. hurlingii snuck in to the joint pot and they're definitely ready to be repotted:

.... and finally, big enough to go to someone else with more room, potted up in spring 2019:

Thanks Shane! It's really enjoyable to make my own crosses- they aren't anything rare, but it's fun to see how the crosses turn out!
