But I assure you, go on Wednesday If you are after some plants
On Wednesday, they sell plants of many kinds
On Saturday, they sell many souvenirs (and no plants)

These were what i saw, today

Giant size of grafted Azteckium hintonii Grafted Ariocarpus fissuratus var. rubra (near my thumb) Those blow my mind

For the hintonii = around 2.500-3000 bath
For the var. rubra = i didn't ask...sorry. Next week, i'll let you know...

3000 baht is approximately $98 US, today. Not a bad price, but transportation cost would make it expensive.

I like the Aloe the most...and wiki says that it is critically endangered
But since it can grow quite big...I prevent myself from buying it...
I'll have a problem carrying it when I have to go back to Indonesia...hahaha

You only need to take a cutting or small offset back with you.

I'm always amazed at how well they grow Hylocereus as a rootstock. It's especially evident in how plump they are. It's always a finicky plant for me to keep healthy.

I think it's the climate. Hylocereus grows great here with little effort. I've sometimes wondered why Hylocereus isn't used more frequently by hobby growers, as people who use it speak highly of it. Maybe it just grows poorly in some climates and that's why

Yes, these guys farm Hylocereus in what appears to be mud but are growing them like weeds. They're always so strong and plump, rarely having an issue.

The caudex plants are Stephania. Several species are native to Asia, and they form huge trunks.
