I ordered seed from this seller last year
https://www.precious-cactus.com/
They arrived quickly and 8 of the 12 germinated. I killed them after that. My fault.
Due to the covid19 thing they are not shipping right now.

Wow, that is an expensive seed seller. I would go elsewhere, to a place where they don't try to exploit peyote junkies.

Many of us up here can provide you seeds for free. If you wait a while, I will have some on my free seed list.

Hi
The seeds arrived quickly. 8 of the 12 germinated. This was my first attempt at germinating seeds. I screwed it up.

8 out of 12 sounds like a good germination rate.

The seeds germinated. And Instead of leaving everything sealed I opened the containers prematurely. It introduced pathogens which quickly caused the seedling to rot.
I'm interested in trying again now that I have moved . I have set up a "nursery" with my T-5 bulbs and shelving in my garage. The garage is semi insulated. The door is not. Temperatures drop to the low 60's at night and then climb back up to 85 to 90 degrees during the day. So it seems it will be the idea setting to try germinating seeds again. This time I will let them mature before exposing them to the real world.
Where are you located I Love Pereskia. What do have to offer and how much $?
Thanks
Mike M

idk if it rots for you, it might be better to remove them after germination. my cactus have been out and theyre looking good. (only in bag for 2 weeks, had to remove cuz of rot. (i sterilized everything and sealed it shut)
got a few buddies who remove it right after, they seem to grow well and maybe a bit slower but better slow and steady than rotten
