River City collection

Post by Aloha916 »

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to update this thread every week or two, especially throughout the growing season.

Spring is here in California and my collection is waking up, despite stormy and colder weather over the last week. Most of my plants are still pretty stressed/shriveled.

Curiosity question.
They all appear to be happy in clay pots, why change to plastic?
Thanks

Here's some more new growth and blooms from today's sun, after a couple of cloudy and rainy days up here in California.

Nice looking plants! Are you taking advantage of these next few warmer days to water? Mine are getting their first nice watering of the year. I’m about 50 miles west of you.

Definitely planning to! I've been watering cautiously since February.

The garden is alive!!!

This week's 80 degree temps are causing big flowering and growth. Best time of the year! Here are a few flowers and growing plants.

Very nice plants. How many times have you been able to give a good watering this year? I'm planning on doing one tomorrow. Watered last on the 13th.
