Please help with identification needed

Post by Diana »

Please if you know - could you tell me the names of these plants?
I only managed to find one name - portulacaria afra mediopicta commonly known as elephant bush, because apparently elephants eat it. :D
I also suspect that the green one on the left could be a type of aloe?
Thank you for your help!

This is great, thank you for your help. Do you have any idea if these plants will tolerate full sun all day? Or do they prefer partly shady areas?

These plants will tolerate sun, but best not a full day. And if they have been shaded, or behind glass before, they will not tolerate sun, and will burn. They need to gradually adjust to it again.

there are at least 3 Adromischus species that have at least some clones with spotted leaves like that. A triflorus, triygnus and alstonii. Cooperi does also, but I don't see a wavy margin on your pic that is typical of that species.
Agree with last post re growing, as a general matter few little plants like full sun all day, if it gets over 80F or so.

Aeonium haworthii - A. haworthioides does not exist.

1 may be Aloe juvenna
2 is Portulacaria afra - one of the variegated forms, maybe medio-picta
