crested copiapoa seedling ?

Post by Jangaudi »

Hi all,
Is this a crested seedling ? It's the only one which made it out of a batch of copiapoa cinerea ssp. tenebrosa seeds. Too bad cause I like their original shape better ;)

I think you are right, it does look like 3 heads rather than a crested middle. So I guess it will develop normally then, besides the 3 heads ;)

It may or may not revert to normal growth. I've had a few of these that I thought were crested and after grafting they normalized. I cut and rooted the normalized portion and it was hardly noticeable.
