I got a new spiky friend here yesterday and it was inside the nursery’s glass cabinet so it caught my attention because I don’t have a cacti yet under the genus ‘Tephrocactus’. It doesn’t really specify which type of Tephrocactus is this but hopefully someone here can pinpoint or give an idea what my friend here could be.
Thank you in advance and have a great day!

Looks like Tephrocactus alexanderi.
Hi Greenknight!
I actually thought it was this at first but with some digging using Google, I was able to find its correct ID.
Thanks a lot and have a nice day!

Cumulopuntia leucophaea (or C. sphaerica if you prefer).
Hi Phil!
Thanks for your help... I tried looking it up online and I was able to find a post on Ebay about this cacti and it says Opuntia but then I saw another post and saw that it’s called Cumulopuntia Sphaerica or Tephrocactus Sphaericus. All photos of which online made me 100% that it was what you also posted. Now my friend here is already properly named.
Appreciate the help again!
Have a great day!
