It's neat and tidy like everything you Dutch do, but why did you use wood instead of something clear for the one side? Even here in California I take advantage of all the sun that I can in my greenhouse.

Very nice, hablu -- what kind if glazing did you use? -- and the same question that TimV raised.

i would guess from the shadows that the back faces north, so little would be gained from glazing it.

Harry: That is a first class project! You must be mighty proud. You really have a lot of room to move around in there. I'm very happy for you!

Wow, that is huge! Also curious on your choice of floor, I definetly would choose concrete.

Hi there; my shed is open on two sides. The long side on the east (along the garden) and the short side on the north (There is a door I can close and with nice weather we can see from the house into the shed).
Why not the backside and the other long side with glass or something transparant? Well, there is the huge shed of the neighbours. And that's an ugly sight and I won't gain much light. Another reason: I'm not that far from the coast. We have heavy storms here during fall and wintertime. Something with glass would be to expensive.
The floor will be stone. Total extra room for plants is 12 x 3 meters. So - "Yes Bill, I'm very happy with it".

greets to you all. Harry

I really like your shade house, Harry. Very classy and I love all of the wood and the high ceiling.

Congrats!

Wonderful job Harry, nice size too, you'll be stacking them in there in no time at all! I can't wait to see the finished product.

Well done!
