Tropical cloud forest

Post by leland »

I went for a short hike here in northern Nicaragua at about 1500 meters elevation. Tisey peak has a remaining patch of pine/broad leaf cloud forest. I found epiphyllum crenatum growing on both trees and rocks as well as furcraea cabuya cabuya and some bromiliads.
