Anacampseros Bayeriana

Post by PseudolithosLover »

Who grows this amazing little beauty? It's everything anyone could want in a succulent
Impossible to find
From the other side of the world (to most of us)
Impossibly expensive when available
No one has any information on how to care for it
It's impossible to see
It's leaves are windowed
It's a caudiciform (Not that you can see the caudex, but it's there)

I know I've seen pictures here somewhere on this site of a cultivated one...
Who has some? Please share some more cultivation info and pics... I might as well spend the time while waiting for someone to finally have one available by trying to collect as much info as possible about it so I don't kill it.

Happy Growing
David

This German page has decent info, google translate does a very good job on the conversion to English:

Anacampseros comptonii seems to be alike, I think? That is easier to find.

I prefer bayeriana, it's much smaller, and has adorable leaves and caudices
