Asking for the name for cross-pollinated cactus

Post by mamamiah »

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum. I would like to ask if there is anyone who has tried cross-pollinating G. mihanovichii and G. damsii? I have tried cross-pollinating those two and have 2 seed pods that I have planted for 2 weeks now... If there is anyone who had tried cross-pollinating them, what is the outcome of your cactus, and do you know what would the name of those two now? Thank you so much, I hope I can gather more information here because I have been googling about this and found no answer yet.

Seems possible, would be a lovely plant. Does the seed look fertile to you? Have other seeds germinated successfully in the conditions you're trying to sprout them in?
Trade with me :) Always looking to expand my collection! :D

The name would be G. mihanovichii X damsii if seeddpods are on mihanovichii and G. damsii X mihanovichii if they are on damsii. Mother first. Let us know if they sprouted when time comes.
