I have a few seedlings about 1cm tall. It's OK for them to rest with other cacti.
Best regards,
Alexander

Keep them warm with sunlight or artificial lighting or a heat pad? Is there a specific watering for seedlings in winter?

I'm on my very first seed growing venture and want to know as well. Mine are less than a month old, in containers , under lighting and moist @ 76F/24C. Seem to be doing well. One species is about 1CM tall...the other 5-6 mm .

Wow! Less than a month but 1cm tall?
I have seedlings 10 days old, they are about 5-7mm tall but not more than 2mm (a few 3mm) width. I really look forward first spines :)

Could you please share photo, Steve?

When I said about 1cm tall seedlings, I mean seedlings more than 6 months old.

Alexander

Sclerocactus seedlings. Sowed 11.18. Small spines emerging. The red ones are Scleros. The pudgy green ones are Ech. texensis. They are 5mm. Both sowed on the same date.

The pics are on page two on this thread.
