Re: Need help in grafting
Sorry, but why do you want to graft it? This Mammillaria longimamma looks good and adult for blooming.
Best regards,
Alexander

I don't have that specific species but I grafted 3 different species of mammillaria to hylocereus, opuntia and pereskiopsis. While all grafts succeeded, the growth on hylo and opuntia was not impressive, while on pereskiopsis it was faster. I'd like to know which permanent stock works for mammillarias in general if anyone knows!

You can try to root and also to graft only one mammilla only, it's possible with this species.
PS It's very simple plant, usually grows on its own roots perfectly and doesn't need to graft.

Mammillaria longimamma root system is not good + slow growth and can die easily when over watered or in rainy season. Due to all this i tried grafting it . If Carbo has succeeded then I guess i will try to graft again in summer season
