Can you describe what your “set them free” procedure is? I have a few copiapoa haseltonia I set in March and they grew pretty well. Now I’m not sure when to open them to the air.

Just when the winter sets in I open the jars and let them have their winter rest. At this age they are not bothered by the change ;)

Well, most were sown last winter/spring. Here's the Ariocarpus scaphrarostrus / Mammilaria hernandezii mixed bag. Some Arios got 3 leaves already.

I got following new batch for this season coming up. I will be joining them into mixed pots even more than last time. Up to 3 species in one pot, if only 10 or 15 seeds, to avoid empty space and increase water absorption. I've puzzled them so, as to have clearly distinguisable species together, otherwise I'd be in trouble ;) Pictures coming when germinating.
