Looking for an alternative to Google Chrome mobile

Post by Shane »

I've become unhappy with Chrome mobile for a few reasons and am looking for a different browser. Two of the main things I'm looking for are:

1. Does not have a "close all tabs" button in an area where it can easily be clicked by accident

2. Has an option to load pages in text only format (for slow connections and to reduce data use)

Does anyone have any suggestions?

You did not specify your OS. Sometimes I use DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser for Android but that one gets quite often irresponsible on my tablet.
Not sure what you have in your "Play store".
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

Try Opera. While on PC I prefer Firefox, Opera is much better for android. Far from to be ideal, but well thought. I do not think it supports point 2), but it can be difficult to find nowadays.
Best regards :-)

I found a chrome clone called kiwi. I was able to install an extension that keeps photos and videos from loading if I choose. It still does have the poorly placed close all tabs button but I don't know that there's anything better out there
