Soil for Albuca bracteata

I was wondering if anyone has a soil recommendation for Albuca bracteata. I planted a few small ones in my succulent soil a while ago and am wondering if that was the right call or if I should use normal potting soil. I gave a couple to my friend as well and theirs seemed to do better than mine for a while probably because they watered theirs more than I did
