Does anyone know any good online sources for Perlite in large quantities? And what is a reasonable price?
I see all sorts of prices and quantities, from gallons to square feet. I thought someone here might have a good source already.
Thanks in advance.

I came across this site the other day, but I don't know how their prices compare. Shipping is the killer. https://www.greenhousemegastore.com/sup ... ndments%2f

Personally, I have stopped using Perlite because I don't like how it floats up in the pot.

Thank you for your answers. 🙂
The difference between gallons and cubic feet was confusing me so I thought I would just search for 4 cubic feet.
The prices varied widely from 12.25 to 19.85 to 27.95 to even 57.99. 8-[
CropKing.com had the best price.
Thanks again.

12.25 for 4 cubic feet (120 quarts) is an incredible deal! Is the shopping bad though?

As I said, perlite is mixed in with concrete for a non-structural , lightweight mix. A supply house should have it.

Thanks, I'll check that out. Shipping for two bags of the place I mentioned would have been 55 bucks.
What do you mean by supply house?

None of the supply houses I checked nearby carry perlite.
I went with a couple of bags of 4 cubic feet at Home Depot. At least the shipping is free.

Hydroponic, Fertilizer & Farm Supply Stores that specialize in Truck farms. They should carry #1, 2, and #3 size of perlite.

Do they call it perlite or does it go by a different name when used in cement?
