I've looked at the variations on Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving cactus, but nieher seem to match mine.
Anyone know what it is?

The brown stem seen in the pic, does it belong to the green segments? I would have guessed some sort of Euphorbia.

If the spines do not spring from areoles it is not a cactus. As Mrs Green says it looks like a Euphorbia.
