My candelabra has nearly died over night?

my huge (160cm multi branched) Euphorbia acrurensis seems to over night have caught some sort of infection and there is what looks like corking or scarring, white mould and the entire plant has turned dark and mushy and I was looking for some help!

Your E. acrurensis is a succulent, not a cactus, so you'll be likely to get more responses in the Succulent Growing Help forum. I'm one of the moderators, and I can move your thread over there if you'd like.
