Hi all, I am planning to order some Ariocarpus, Turbinicarpus, Discocactus seeds from Kakteen Piltz. What are your views on the germination rate? I heard their peer Koehres has deteriorated a lot in recent times but not sure about Piltz.

Hi, I ordered seeds of 13 species/varieties from Piltz earlier this year (mostly Gymnocalycium and Copiapoa). Most of them germinated quite well, around 3-4 of them had low germination rates but something came up from all seed packs, they were also quite generous with the number of seeds.
From the genera you want to get I bought Discocactus horstii seeds, have 8 healthy looking seedlings growing now from 11 seeds I got

So overall positive, I just had to wait a bit for my order.

Thanks a lot! This is very reassuring. Since the seeds are reasonably priced, I will order a bit more to get reasonable number of seedlings.
