Cleistocactus ID please

Post by gillinger »

Can anyone please confirm that this is C. winteri? The id on the pot just says Cleistocactus.

Many thanks

Don't think that's a C. winteri, maybe a C. samaipatanus?

I just bought four similarly sized cacti today, three of them have an imprint on the pot which says "Plant Passport", followed by the full name of the cactus. The fourth, in the picture, just says Cleistocactus, so I assume that's going to be correct, but it does certainly look like a Weberbauercereus as well.
