Are both Echinopsis peruviana?

Post by dramis »

Hello,

I grew from seed 18 months ago what I was told were Echinopsis peruviana. They are now roughly 10 cm high, but 3 out of the 9 cacti look like the one on the right. Are they all Echinopsis peruviana or did I have some seeds of a closely related species mixed in there?

Hi maybe late reply but I answer anyway. The one at left looks like Peruvianus but the one on the right is 100% not Peruvianus.

Thanks for your reply. The more they grow, the less they look like Peruvianus... Probably Weberbauerocereus longicomus as Catimaniac suggested below.

I think you're right. Clearly not peruvianus. Thanks!
