Just an update here. The images are updated back to 2012. Images prior to that year were handled differently and so they are in a different location, but I'm grabbing those and will add them next.

OK, just got the last of the images uploaded. So... the site should be complete. If you see anything broken or missing, please let me know.

I will work on the email settings now.

Hello, I did not see it. The notifications for PMs and watched topics are not working yet. Working on setting up the system emails in a way that doesn't cause issues with blacklisting or spam blocking. We've had problems with that in the past.

The best thing for now is to email me directly: daiv@cactiguide.com

Daiv

I was just looking at "Search by Genera" on the Home page under Rhipsalis baccifera ssp. horrida. When I clicked on Alternate Taxonomy and Publication Details I got a list of errors. I did not check any other cactus.

Thanks! Fixed it.

I don't believe we've ever had the ability to add images in private messages.

Site notification emails should be working now. Please let me know if you are getting them or not. I've sent test messages to myself and they worked.

Very popular moderator ? :D

I have noticed that Aeonium2003 is moderator on each subforum . Not a problem at all but he is listed no less than four times on every subforum? Only exception is the ‘Cacti picture contest’ subforum were he shares the moderatorjob with a Jens and John C, also listed several times each? A bug in the system? :?:

I didn't notice that, but yes, very odd. I will look into it.

I think some of those names are a carryover from the old board, since some disappeared off the Forum years ago. Clicking on their profiles will show the last occasion they logged on. However it would be a long and tedious job for Daiv to go all through members profiles for those who have not logged on for some years, therefore inevitably you do get some "dead men" on the books. Also how long do you give them before you decide they will not log on again?

Can't seem to upload pics. "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached." error. Each pic was under the 500Kb limit. Anything I'm doing wrong? TIA
