Am I right to doubt the ID given for this?

It says on the label "no spines", but it obviously has some and "monacantha" = "single spine", but that often just refers to the most prominent one.

Anyway if you scroll down there is a picture in this link. Seemingly it has been moved around to different genera in its time, therefore you can also search under those names too.

I found this. So maybe it’s a cultivar of monocantha?
