I don't think it's a Mammillaria. It looks like a Turbinicarpus.

Yeah, these have some of the larger Mammillaria flowers. I'm not quite sure if this taxon was part of the recently proposed Cochemiea reclassification.

Can't find the article now, but I think they lumped all the hooked spined Mammilarias into Cochemia? Not all "Mammillarias" have small flowers.
Mammillaria guelzowiana (the species that looks similar to Mammillaria bocasana until it flowers!)
