Coryphanta?

Post by ohugal »

Any idea's on this one? Should I look in the direction of Coryphanta? Not acquainted with the species at all. Ignore the label, it's intended for the cactus next to it.

Not a sign of any groves on tubercles. Looks like Turbinicarpus (Gymnocactus) to me.

Turbinicarpus saueri ssp. nelissae ?
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

Thanks. Ah yes the groves... I forgot about that. I did read a post about it on the forum a while back.
Is Turbinicarpus knuthianus also an option you think?

Possibly: Turbinicarpus saueri ssp. knuthianus, but these are usually with more dense spines.
