Gorgeous euphorbias. I have found many to be much sweeter smelling than I had imagined. Your gh is an assault on the eyes, but in a good way, it probably smells excellent too, though I wonder if all the different scents war with each other or synergise pleasantly.
Most of the time the insects or animals can smell it but we can't, unless you get very close to the flower. Some of the Stapelia, Huernia and similar species, you don't want to get too close......
I assumed the purpose of different scents or colours is to attract different pollinators.

Thanks mmcavall! Weather still a bit cold here, but I can see there are more flower buds.
Day time temperature might go down to 5°C again next week, hopefully not affecting the cactus too much.

Not cacti or succulents.
Some plants from the woodland surrounding the house.
Cootamundra Wattle - Acacia baileyana 01.JPG
Cyanicula caerulea - Blue Fingers.JPG
Dwarf Greenhood - Pterostylis nana 01.JPG
And lots of sticky insect traps
You can see some of the victims in the traps.
Drosera macrantha subsp planchonii 01.JPG
Pale sundew - Drosera hookeri.JPG
Scented sundew - Drosera aberrans 01.JPG
Nice pics!
It’s always interesting to get a glimpse of the flora and fauna from other parts of the world. The scented sundew, what kind of scent are we talking about?
