Black areas on leaves.

Post by KacjaSlina »

Dear friends.
First of all, hello to all of you. I'm new on this forum.
I have a problem with my aloe aculeata (I presume, correct me if I'm wrong).
As you can see in the photo there are pretty big black areas on the leaves.
I also inserted photo from about a month or so when the plant was healthy.
I hope you can give me an explanation and solution for that.
I couldn't find any similar posts in the forum at the moment.
Thanx in advance,
Kacja

To me the plant looks like it has sunburn.

Thanks for your answer Aeonium2003.
I think that you are correct.
I checked the shady sides of the leaves and they are completely OK!
Any chances of recovery?

It will grow more leaves. Those that are sunburned won't recover.
