I went up to the county park to locate and identify Agave Mckelveyana, an Arizona endemic native to a broad portion of the west-central part of the state. I found several other plants of interest while I was there.
This is what appears to be a very mature specimen of O. chlorotica
Banana yucca on Hwy 259 in the nearby community of Pinion Pines
and last but not least Mohave Claret cup
No buzzworms this time, but an American Elk wandered across the road.
