My wife took this picture today. Next to a hole on a golf course she was playing in Palm Desert Ca. One very unique Saguaro.

I wonder why it grey that way.

I had a sunburnt Rebutia do this, but that's a very soft cacti, letting it curl from the scar. I'm not sure how a large, woody cacti could do this.
