The ovaries of the flower. Could be a developing fruit if the flower was pollinated. You'll know soon. The flowers fall off quickly if they were not successfully pollinated.

Sounds exciting! I sure didn’t pollinate it but I have a lot of milkweed plants for the butterflies and it seems the bees just can’t get enough of there pollen. Maybe one of them pollinated it. I hope 🤞🏼

Echinopsis cacti need pollen of another genetically different plant (different clone of the same species, or entirely different species/hybrid) to make seeds. Therefore the offspring could be a hybrid when open pollinated.
