Please help ID this spiky cactus!

Post by Mrs.cactus »

I've had this cactus for a while now but it seems the spot just isn't right for it. The top got burned and sun stressed. It's in full sun almost all day ans it doesn't seem like it's grown all that much.
Can anyone ID it so I can find a better location for it ?
Thanks!

Echinopsis chiloensis.

It's a species that likes full sun. If it's burnt, you didn't acclimatise it properly. I'd suggest giving it some shade for a few weeks or months.
