Anyone knows is this place still exists and the cacti still there? I couldn’t find anything about the garden later than 2012. ( ads)

The cactus garden in Bendigo
Re: The cactus garden in Bendigo
The place is still there. The current owner live there. If I'm not mistaken, they only open to the public on selected days.Mrs.Green wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 10:28 am Anyone knows is this place still exists and the cacti still there? I couldn’t find anything about the garden later than 2012. ( ads)

Haven't been there for long time. I might go have a look next time I'm around the area. It's about 2 hours drive from my place.
There is another called Cactus Country, which is much bigger garden, about 2 hours further north, that one open to the public all year round.
Here is a story about those few big cactus/succulent gardens around the same area, not far from each other.

Thank you BryanT For obvious reasons I have no experience with large cacti growing in the ground. I may be way off but I must admit it seems a bit risky with those enourmous cacti so close to the house?BryanT wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 1:59 pmThe place is still there. The current owner live there.
