Best looking cactus variety for a medusa head planter?

Post by cactiguy2022 »

hi everyone,

I am wondering what the most realistic snake looking cactus would be to put in a Medusa head planter. I know rat tail, red dragon (huernia Schneideriana), and dog tail, and the 3 medusa cacti varieties (caput-medusae,
E. flanaganii, E. Gorgonis) could all look nice and realistic as snakes but is there any other variety to consider? Does anyone know of any plant variety that could look like angry snakes? lol Right now im leaning more towards the red
dragon cactus for looking the most like snakes
thanks!
