Fungal disease?

Hi all,
I have two problems with my (I think it's a Eve's pin) cactus, I hope someone can help me out..
1) There are brown spots at the ends.. Is this a possible fungal disease? How to treat it?
2) It seems my cactus is only growing in length and it's getting so tall I have to support it... It is in a light place already. Is this normal?
