I bought a few cacti at Home Depot on Tuesday which I think are Mammillaria's, but I am not sure. I hope some of you can lend a hand here. They are all in 1.5" pots (38 mm). Just seedlings.

Agreed. M. simplex is a synonym of M. mammillaris.
