Hello,
My issue is that I have a Mammillaria backebergiana that I think might be sick.
A few days ago, I've noticed a large white spot on it's top and it has deflated where the white spot appeared so that now it's leaning a little bit on the side.
I know it can't be due to mealybugs because I've tried scraping and squishing the white texture and no red substance came out.
I wonder if this issue might have a link with the fact that I've placed it somewhere it gets less sunlight in my room.
Could you please help me to figure out what the problem is?

Re: Mammillaria with white spots and top leaning on the side
Not enough sunlight the white is dead skin probably from rot which has healed.
Re: Mammillaria with white spots and top leaning on the side
Leaning one side can be feature of many cacti but the shape of these Mammillaria is ugly due to insufficient light. They need to be at an window or under lamps.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
