Winter dormancy in SoCal

Post by .ilUli. »

I last watered my outdoor cacti 2 weeks ago and am wondering if I should water them again. We added a little grandson to our family since then so I did not pay any attention to the temperatures here in Orange County, CA. At what nighttime temps do cacti become dormant? Should I water mine one more time? For reference, I see that tonight's temps will go down to 53F
Just a beginner trying to learn and keep my cacti alive and happy. Zone 10a

Hi. I slow down and pretty much stop watering altogether here in Palm Springs when winter temps go below 50.
