Of the lithops seeds I planted only one has survived. For about a year it didn't grow at all. I watered it well last September and it began to grow quite rapidly. By mid January the old leaves had dried up and disappeared. It is now about 8mm across and has stopped growing. Most advice is not to water until the old leaves dry up which should be about May. Should I water now since the old leaves have gone or wait until May ?

I would water it if it starts to wrinkle, as long as it's plump and firm don't water.
